What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. When you subscribe, billing is handled by Stripe; we store a customer reference, not your card details.
Your wellbeing data — the part that matters
BurnoutGuard works by tracking sensitive things: your daily mood, energy, and stress check-ins, your upload history, and the health scores and burnout signals computed from them. Here is exactly how that data is handled:
- It is stored in your account and visible only to you.
- It is used solely to compute your health score, burnout signals, and schedule suggestions. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never shared with other users or platforms.
- You can delete it: email us to delete your account and all wellbeing data, and we will remove it within 30 days.
BurnoutGuard is not a medical service, and this data is not a medical record — but we treat it with the sensitivity it deserves.
Cookies & usage
We use authentication tokens to keep you signed in and basic server logs to keep the Service running and secure. No third-party ad cookies.
Third parties
We share data only with the processors needed to run the Service, such as Stripe for payments. Your check-ins and health data are not sent to any analytics or AI provider.
Retention & deletion
Account data and check-in history are retained while your account is active so your trends stay meaningful. On account deletion we remove identifiable data within 30 days.
Your rights
You can request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time. EU and California residents have the rights afforded under GDPR and CCPA respectively; contact us to exercise them.
